When laying above ground
In case the pipeline has excessive length on the route, it is necessary to cut out the damaged site not less than 2 m, on 1 m from a place of damage in each party. Cut off the ends of the flexible tube to install the fittings (either flange or butt weld). After that, one of the sections of the pipeline is pulled up and the two sections are connected to each other.

Cut off the ends of the flexible tube to install the fittings (either flange or butt weld). Then install the repair insert in place of the cutout.
Subsurface pipelining
In case of repair of the pipeline at subsurface pipelining it is necessary to trench. This allows the repair of the pipeline, while the length of the pipeline section cleared of soil should be at least 4 m in length and 1 m in width. Slopes, pit wall mounts shall be executed according to point 2.10 RD 153-39.4 R-130-2002.
Connection with steel pipeline
To connect the flexible pipeline to the steel, weld the mating flange to the steel pipeline, and at the end of the flexible pipeline, install the fitting with the flange and connect both flanges. Another option of connection can be installation on the end of a flexible pipeline of a fitting under welding and to weld it to the steel pipeline.
